| Movement is essential
for good health. In partnership with Dr. Feder and his staff, The
Studio provides an opportunity for health and wellness:
Yoga, Pilates,
and Aikido classes, facilitated by
certified and experienced instructors.
Our beautiful, newly
constructed addition is the backdrop for a professional and
nurturing environment in which to
practice. Our classes are intentionally small, so that our
instructors can give each
participant close supervision. |

instructors tailor each workout to
those present. Each of the movement modalities has the same ultimate
goal: to bring deep relaxation, calmness of mind, vitality, and
health to those who practice it. |
Suggestions to Help Avoid Injury, Spasm and Pain
-
Take care to
achieve and maintain your body’s biomechanical function, focusing on
accurate bone alignment and proper joint movement.
-
Nourish your
tissues (cartilage, ligaments, tendons and muscles) with nutrients which
may support their ability to heal and their prolonged health and
vitality.
-
Exercise
regularly, even if it is only a simple range of motion. Movement is
essential to accomplish the delivery of nutrients to – and the removal
of waste products from – the cells found in the cartilage of the intervertebral disk.
-
Reduce stress
as much as possible. Adequate rest following exercise may help promote
thorough delivery of nourishment to the cells of the connective tissues.
