Developing a customized training plan begins by first scheduling a consultation. We will discuss what your goals are, how you came to this decision, and what you are looking to gain out of training. We discuss areas of struggle, diet, and current exercise routines. The last thing we do is identify three quantifiable goals to work towards, so we can measure success.
Post-consultation assessments are conducted using the Functional Movement Screening (FMS) to assess and measure your ability in movement, mobility, and stability. All exercises performed are based on a scale from 0-4. Zero, meaning that the individual experienced pain and could not complete the activity, and four meaning the individual performed the exercise correctly without flaw. It is necessary to gauge the individuals FMS scores simply because it is the sole purpose of writing a proper exercise plan for functional training.
